The Minho, where Vinho Verde is born, has much more to offer than just the easygoing, semi-green wines. There are serious Alvarinho´s, Loureiro´s, some with oak matuarion and bottle aging. Even reds are produces in the region, that are very rare outside the region itself.

The Minho as a Wine region is on the move to become a lot more serious in the domain of Portuguese wines.

In this tasting we will discover what the region has to offer besides the standard options.

The Douro Valley is one of Portugal most important wine regions. Traditionally known for the fortified Port-wines, nowadays just as famous for the whites, reds and even rosé wines.

In this tasting we will dive into the specifics of the Douro wine region. We will taste wines from different sub regions and you will get to understand how geographical differences are reflected in the wines. Also we will zoom in on the grape varieties and the different styles of wine making. The tasting will give you a full overview of what Douro has to offer in wines.
